Risk Disclosure
v1.0 · updated 2026-09-26
This page is part of the Terms of Use. Read it before you create, buy, sell, or trade anything on POO.MEME.
1. Memecoins can lose all their value
Tokens created on POO.MEME are speculative. A token's price can fall to zero, sometimes within minutes of its launch. Nothing about a token being listed, created, or traded here implies it has, or will keep, any value.
2. Anyone can create a token — POO.MEME does not check who, or what they claim
Anyone can create a token on POO.MEME, including one that copies another project's name, logo or branding. We do not verify who created a token or whether anything it, or its creator, says about it is true. Treat every claim you read about a token — including on its own page — as something to verify yourself, not something POO.MEME has confirmed.
3. A token's creator chooses everything about it — we show those choices, we do not vouch for them
A token's name, logo, description, links, creator fee, modules, and payout address are all chosen by its creator. POO.MEME's Interface displays those choices exactly as set; it does not endorse, guarantee or take responsibility for them.
4. What a token's contract limits — and what it does not
Once a token is created, its supply is fixed, its modules are fixed, and its creator fee is fixed: no one — not its creator, not POO.MEME — can mint more of it, change its fee rate, or move a holder's balance directly. That limit does not stop the token's creator or any other large holder from selling their own holdings at any time, including immediately after launch.
5. Token modules and fees carry their own risk
A token's creator fee can charge up to the platform's stated maximum on every buy and every sell, and a module can act on a trade in ways described on its own page (for example, buying or selling the token itself as part of its own mechanism). Every token module is written by an independent developer, and only checked against the platform's own structural limits (gas caps, what it is allowed to touch), not reviewed for whether it does what its description says. Read a token's own creator fee and each of its modules' descriptions before you buy.
6. Liquidity and slippage
A token trades against whatever liquidity its curve or its pool holds. Thin liquidity means a small trade can move the price a lot, and a large trade may not fill at the price you expected. Set your slippage tolerance deliberately, and understand that a trade can fail, or execute at a worse price than shown, if the market moves before it confirms.
7. A launch's liquidity is locked for good when its pool is created
The moment a token's curve is swept and its Uniswap V4 pool is created, that pool's liquidity is locked for good — there is no creator choice between burning, locking or keeping it, no unlock date, and no way for POO.MEME, the token's creator, or anyone else to withdraw it later. This is enforced by Pons and the pool itself, not chosen per launch.
8. You can trade whenever the token is tradable — there is no refund to wait on
There is no funding target, no window and no waiting for a launch to end. The moment you buy, you hold real tokens: sell them back whenever the token is tradable — on its curve before graduation, and on its pool after. Trading pauses briefly between the curve being swept and its pool being created, and in any other phase Pons does not mark tradable; a trade there is refused rather than filled at a bad price. Every sale still pays the usual fees — Pons's own fee, the token's creator fee, and POO.MEME's 0.1% — and a token's first few seconds carry Pons's own decaying fee on buys (see The first few seconds). POO.MEME does not hold your funds at any point, so there is no separate refund to wait on or apply for.
9. Smart-contract risk
POO.MEME's own contracts, and every third-party contract they interact with (token modules, Pons's own bonding-curve and pool contracts, and the Uniswap V4 pools a launch graduates into), are software, and software can contain bugs. No amount of testing eliminates this risk entirely.
10. Blockchain and network risk
Robinhood Chain, the RPC providers your browser talks to, and the wallet software you use are all outside POO.MEME's control. Network congestion, downtime, or a problem with any of these can delay, fail, or otherwise affect your transaction.
11. Transactions are irreversible
Once a blockchain transaction confirms, it cannot be undone. If you send funds to the wrong address, approve the wrong contract, or sign a transaction you did not intend, POO.MEME cannot reverse it, refund it, or recover it for you.
12. You are responsible for your own keys
You alone control your wallet's private keys and seed phrase. POO.MEME never asks for them and never has access to them. Losing them means losing access to your funds, with no recovery path through us.
13. Regulatory and tax treatment is uncertain and yours to determine
The legal and tax treatment of tokens, launches, and trading on POO.MEME varies by jurisdiction and may change. You are responsible for determining and meeting any legal, regulatory, licensing or tax obligation that applies to you.
14. Nothing here is advice
Nothing on POO.MEME, including this page, is investment, financial, legal or tax advice, or a recommendation to buy, sell or hold anything. Only use funds you can afford to lose completely.
