Overview
POO.MEME is a modular launchpad: one token, the modules you choose, every term on-chain.
Every launchpad hands you the same token. Change the name, change the picture, change the supply — underneath it is the contract everyone else got, and whatever it does is whatever that launchpad decided a token should do.
POO.MEME starts somewhere else. A token here is assembled: one launch module runs the sale, and up to 6 token modules ride the token itself. Each is a separate contract, published on chain, and your token calls the ones you chose.
You set the sale up and pick the modules. No code to write, no contract to deploy yourself, one signature.
Every module you pick carries its own manifest — its rates, its address, and the limits it works inside — and the token's page reads those from the chain rather than from anything POO.MEME stores. So the terms a buyer reads before the sale are the terms that hold after it.
And once a token is created, its rules stop moving: the tax table is fixed, no new supply can ever be made, and no owner power reaches what a holder owns.
Anyone can write a module and publish it, so a token here can do things we never wrote. The rest of this page is what that means in detail.
What a token is
An ERC-20 with a fixed supply. It has no owner, and nobody can mint more, pause it or upgrade it — not its creator, and not POO.MEME.
Three things are settled the moment it is created, and none of them moves again:
- Supply — how much exists and who received it.
- Modules — the contracts that run its launch and add features.
- Tax table — who is paid from each buy and sell, and how much.
Its profile and some module settings stay open: see Run your token.
Modules
A module is a contract a token uses, and it is the whole idea: what your token does beyond moving balances is a set of modules you picked, each named on its page with its rate and its address. A module is capped by the platform and cannot reach a holder's balance.
Token modules are written and published by developers; the launch modules are published by POO.MEME today. POO.MEME's own modules go through the same checks as anyone else's.
| Launch Module | Token Module | |
|---|---|---|
| Per Token | Exactly one | Up to 6 |
| Job | Runs the launch, adds the first liquidity, opens trading | Adds a feature to the token |
| Holds | Its supply and any money raised | Its supply and what the token pays it |
Every module has a page under Modules: what it can do, who wrote it, its version, and its developer’s own description of it.
Handles
A handle is a short public name for a wallet or a family of modules. Both share one namespace, so each handle names exactly one of them.
- Rule
- 3–31 bytes of a–z, 0–9 and -, starting with a letter.
- Wallets
- Take one on your profile page. Release it and anyone can take it.
- Modules
- The first wallet to publish under a handle holds it: see Handles and versions.
A launch, start to finish
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Upcoming — The launch has not started yet. | The launch has not started yet. |
| Live — The launch is accepting funds. | The launch is accepting funds. |
| Ended — Funding has ended; the outcome is not resolved yet. | Funding has ended; the outcome is not resolved yet. |
| Launched — Trading is open. | Trading is open. |
| Failed — It ended without succeeding; contributors take their money back. | It ended without succeeding; contributors take their money back. |
| Cancelled — Its finalizer stopped it; contributors take their money back. | Its creator cancelled it; contributors take their money back. |
Launched is read from the token itself: it shows the moment trading opens.
Chains
POO.MEME runs on Robinhood Chain and BNB Smart Chain. Each token lives on one chain. Pages that need a chain follow your wallet's network.
A token's address always ends in 8888: the factory refuses to create one that does not, so the rule holds for every token, whoever creates it. Your browser finds the address while you fill the form in.
